I don’t know about you, but I totally feel weird making Emily make me some sort of crafty gift for Mothers Day.
The whole ordeal would involve me choosing the craft off of Pinterest. Whether it is a cut out of her hand making a bouquet or gluing popsicle sticks. Then I would have to get all the craft items out, help Emily cut the paper, glue the paper or sticks, spell out ” I Love You Mom, You are the best mother a daughter could ever have and would ever have.”
Then I would have to finish the craft for her, but do a bad enough job so that it looks like she still did it.
Hand it to her and tell her to hand it back to me.
Tell her “Thank You” and tell her how much I love
my her work.
Hang it up for a day or two. Keep hanging it up because it will continue to fall off of the freezer every time someone opened or closed the door.
Throw it out. (I guess I could keep it, but that would be weirder, because we ALL know who REALLY made that special craft proclaiming the love of myself.)
Do it again next year!!!
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
