I get bored making the same ol’ grilled cheese or pb & j for the kiddos for lunch.
I don’t think my almost 4 year old is bored with her lunch but with that said, I thought I would expand her palette.
We have several tubes of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls so I thought I would try a new recipe from their website.
Aren’t they pretty?
Here’s how mine turned out.
Needs sesame seeds right?
What they fail to tell you on the site is that if you put in too much PB or J it will ooze out the side and be hotter than the entrails of a Hot Pocket.
They were too hot to eat so I had to put them in the fridge for about half and hour. Even after that the kids would not touch them.
Why do I even try?
It reminds me of the time Emily requested blueberry pancakes and then ate around the blueberries.
Another time I thought I would be a fun mom and make some sort of colorful pancakes. I asked Em if she wanted her pancakes to be a special color. She said “Yes…beige”.
That should have been my clue to not try anything fancy EVER.
Will this stop me from beating the doldrums of domestic divaness? NEVER!
I will keep on pinning, keep on trying and keep on posting.
Until next time,
